Overview:
The Red Rock Flower Anemone is a striking and hardy anemone, admired for its bold red coloration and petal-like tentacles that resemble a blooming flower. Its unique appearance makes it a captivating centerpiece for reef aquariums.
Origin:
Found throughout the Indo-Pacific and Caribbean regions, typically in shallow reef environments.
Feeding:
Carnivorous – enjoys mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and reef-safe invertebrate foods, while also benefiting from strong lighting for photosynthesis.
Tank Mates:
Best kept with peaceful reef-safe fish and invertebrates. Compatible with clownfish, though hosting is not guaranteed.
Aggression:
Moderately territorial – can sting nearby corals or invertebrates, so provide space.
Experience Level:
Intermediate – requires stable, mature aquariums with quality lighting and water flow.
