Our specimens are carefully bred to maintain the purity of their distinctive red hues, making them a stunning addition to any freshwater aquarium. Feeding: Ensure the vitality of your Red Rose Discus by offering a varied diet. High-quality discus pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp, contribute to their optimal health and coloration. Consistent and nutritious feeding is the key to unlocking the full beauty of these mesmerizing creatures. Tank Mates: Red Rose Discus are best kept in a peaceful community tank. Select companions with care, favoring species that thrive in similar water conditions. Avoid overly aggressive or territorial fish to create a harmonious environment that allows your Red Rose Discus to showcase their elegance without stress. Aggression: Known for their gentle temperament, Red Rose Discus are not inherently aggressive. However, like all discus, they may display some territorial behavior, especially during breeding. Provide sufficient hiding places and space to minimize any potential conflicts. Experience Level: While Red Rose Discus are suitable for aquarists of various experience levels, they do require attention to water quality and a stable environment. Regular monitoring of water parameters and commitment to their dietary needs will ensure a rewarding experience for both beginners and seasoned hobbyists. Water Parameters: Maintain a well-balanced aquarium with a temperature range of 82-88°F (28-31°C), pH between 6.0 and 7.5, and soft to slightly hard water.
