Red Sand Anemone Macrodactyla Doreensis Overview: The Red Sand Anemone, Macrodactyla doreensis, is a stunning anemone species known for its vibrant red or orange hue and long, flowing tentacles. It is commonly referred to as the "Long Tentacle Anemone" and is popular for its dramatic appearance and symbiotic relationship with several species of clownfish. This anemone is ideal for aquarists looking to add both color and natural behavior to their reef aquarium. Origin: Found in the Indo-Pacific region, including Australia and Southeast Asia, the Red Sand Anemone typically inhabits sandy substrates or areas around reefs where it can bury its base. Experience Level: Intermediate. While it is hardy, Macrodactyla doreensis requires stable water conditions and a well-established tank. It is suited for aquarists with some experience in marine tank maintenance and anemone care. Water Parameters:- Temperature: 75-82°F (24-28°C)
