The Red Sea Bannerfish is a striking marine species, featuring a bold black, white, and yellow pattern with an elongated dorsal fin. Peaceful and social, it adds elegance and movement to reef and community aquariums.
Origin:
Native to the Red Sea and western Indian Ocean.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood, with occasional algae grazing.
Tank Mates:
Best kept in peaceful reef and community tanks, ideally in small groups of 2–3, compatible with tangs, clownfish, gobies, and other non-aggressive species.
Aggression:
Very peaceful, non-territorial.
Experience Level:
Suitable for intermediate aquarists, as they require stable water quality and space for natural schooling behavior.
