Reptile Systems Turtle Mix

Reptile Systems Turtle Mix is a highly palatable, staple nutrition, featuring a combination of selected fish, shrimp and complete diet sticks and crisps. This turtle food, rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9, also contains minerals and multi-vitamins to promote growth, digestive health and enhance natural colours.

Turtle Mix is suitable for all types of omnivorous turtles including all Sliders (Red, Yellow, Cumberland), Cooters, Musk Turtles and all similar species.

How much food to feed?

Adult turtles can be fed every day, however, six days a week would be healthier, as captive turtles tend to be overfed. An amount of food that takes between five and ten minutes to eat is a good guide.

For hatchlings and young animals you can divide this into two feeds, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, allowing enough basking time to aid with digestion.
