Royal Blue Damsel – Chrysiptera springeri

Overview:
The Royal Blue Damsel is a brilliant, deep-blue reef fish known for its hardiness, compact size, and bold personality. Its striking coloration and adaptability make it a popular choice for marine aquariums.

Origin:
Found in the Indo-Pacific, particularly coral reefs of Indonesia and the Philippines.

Feeding:
Omnivorous – accepts flakes, pellets, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood.

Tank Mates:
Best suited with semi-aggressive or similarly hardy species. Reef-safe, but may show territorial behavior toward smaller or timid fish.

Aggression:
Semi-aggressive – can be territorial, though slightly less aggressive than some other damselfish.

Experience Level:
Beginner-friendly, ideal for new marine aquarists due to its durability.

Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 74–80°F (23–27°C)

• pH: 8.1–8.4

• Salinity: 1.020–1.025

• Minimum Tank Size: 30+ gallons
