Overview: The Sebae Mono Angelfish, scientifically known as Monodactylus sebae, is an elegant and striking addition to any brackish water aquarium. With its distinctive elongated body and vibrant silver coloration, this fish adds a touch of grace to aquatic landscapes.

Origin: Native to the brackish and freshwater habitats of Africa, specifically found along the western coast, these angelfish are accustomed to estuarine environments, making them adaptable to varying water conditions.

Feeding: Sebae Monos are omnivorous and enjoy a varied diet consisting of live and frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and high-quality flakes or pellets. Their diet can be supplemented with fresh vegetables like blanched spinach or zucchini.

Tank Mates: These angelfish thrive in schools or pairs and prefer the company of their own species. They generally get along well with other peaceful species of similar size and temperament, such as other Mono species, scats, or gobies.

Aggression: Though typically peaceful, territorial behavior might emerge during breeding periods or in smaller tanks. Providing sufficient space and suitable hiding spots can mitigate potential aggression.

Experience Level: Recommended for intermediate aquarists due to their specific water parameter requirements and potential territorial behavior. With proper care, they can be rewarding to keep and observe.

• Temperature: 72°F to 82°F (22°C to 28°C)
• Brackish conditions
• PH: 7.0 to 8.5
• Hardness: 10 to 20 dGH
• Ample filtration and regular water changes are essential to maintain water quality
