Native to the Western Indian Ocean, particularly around the Seychelles, Madagascar, and nearby islands.

Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on frozen or live mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine flakes or pellets, with occasional algae grazing.

Tank Mates:
Ideal for peaceful to moderately aggressive reef and community tanks, avoiding overly aggressive or nippy species.

Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though may defend small territories if housed in confined spaces.

Experience Level:
Recommended for intermediate to advanced aquarists, due to its dietary requirements and sensitivity to water quality.
