Origin
Likely native to Southeast Asia, commonly found in slow-moving rivers, ponds, and marshes with soft substrates and abundant plant life.
Feeding
Primarily herbivorous. Consumes soft algae, biofilm, and decaying plant matter. Supplement with algae wafers, blanched vegetables (zucchini, spinach), and sinking pellets when natural foods are limited.
Tank Mates
Very peaceful. Ideal for community tanks with small fish, shrimp, and other non-predatory species. Avoid loaches, large cichlids, pufferfish, and other snail-eating species.

None. Completely peaceful; does not harm plants or tank mates.
