Native to the Central and South Pacific, particularly around Tahiti and surrounding islands.

Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on a diet of frozen or live mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine flakes or pellets, with occasional algae grazing.

Tank Mates:
Best suited for peaceful to moderately aggressive reef and community tanks, avoiding overly aggressive or nippy species.

Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though may defend small territories in confined spaces.

Experience Level:
Recommended for intermediate to advanced aquarists, due to its dietary needs and sensitivity to water quality.
