Origin:

Native to the warm waters of the Western Pacific Ocean, the Three Spot Flame Cardinal is typically found among reefs and lagoons, where it thrives in the cover of coral branches.

Feeding:

A carnivorous species, the Three Spot Flame Cardinal favors a diet rich in meaty foods. Offer a variety of live, frozen, or freeze-dried foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and bloodworms to ensure optimal health and coloration.

Tank Mates:

Ideal for a community tank, this species is best kept with other peaceful fish. Suitable companions include small gobies, clownfish, and dartfish. Avoid large or aggressive species that may intimidate or harm these cardinals.

Aggression:

Exhibiting a tranquil nature, the Three Spot Flame Cardinal is not known for aggression towards tank mates. However, it's recommended to keep them in small groups or pairs to prevent any potential territorial behavior among conspecifics.
