Ultra Tube Anemones Cerianthus Sp Overview: Ultra Tube Anemones, Cerianthus sp., are a fascinating species known for their vivid, long, tube-like bodies and brightly colored tentacles. Unlike traditional anemones, they live in a soft tube that they create, which extends deep into the substrate. Their striking appearance and flowing tentacles make them a popular choice for marine aquariums, offering a unique visual focal point. Origin: Native to the Indo-Pacific and Caribbean regions, Ultra Tube Anemones are typically found in sandy or muddy substrates in deeper waters, where they anchor their tubes. Experience Level: Intermediate. While they are hardy and adaptable, Ultra Tube Anemones need specific care, especially in terms of feeding and substrate placement, making them best suited for aquarists with some experience in marine tank maintenance. Water Parameters:- Temperature: 72-78°F (22-26°C)
- pH: 8.1-8.4
- Salinity: 1.023-1.025 SG
- Lighting: Moderate lighting, though they do not rely on photosynthesis and can thrive in lower light conditions.
- Flow: Moderate to low water flow to prevent their tentacles from being damaged.
