Wardii Tiger Goby Valenciennea Wardii The Wardii Tiger Goby, scientifically known as Valenciennea wardii, is a captivating and visually stunning addition to saltwater aquariums. Originating from the Indo-Pacific region, this goby features a cream-colored body adorned with distinctive brown or black vertical stripes, resembling the markings of a tiger. The Tiger Goby is known for its peaceful temperament, making it suitable for community aquariums. It thrives best in a tank with plenty of live rock, a sandy substrate, and a tightly sealed lid to prevent escapes. This goby forms a symbiotic relationship with species of Pistol Shrimp, providing both shelter and protection. In terms of feeding, the Tiger Goby is a carnivore and should be offered a varied diet consisting mainly of brine or mysis shrimp. It is considered an easy-to-care-for species, making it a suitable choice for both experienced and novice aquarists. The recommended water parameters for the optimal care of the Tiger Goby include a tank size of at least 30 gallons, stable water conditions, and a pH between 8.1 and 8.4. With its captivating appearance, peaceful nature, and symbiotic relationships, the Tiger Goby is an excellent choice for enhancing the biodiversity and vibrancy of a saltwater aquarium.Above images for illustration purposes only.
