The Wavereef Dropin UV is perfect for clarifying aquatic environments. This steriliser can be used on saltwater and freshwater aquariums as well as ponds to help control and even eradicate parasites, algae, fungi, bacteria, and protozoa without any harmful chemicals or biocides! When properly installed, maintained, and operated, the high-output UV light in the steriliser can effectively eliminate free-floating microorganisms.

What are the features of the Wavereef Dropin UV?

The Wavereef Dropin UV kills most suspended bacteria and viruses in the water column when running at proper flows. As well as this, it improves the immune function of aquatic life by aiding in the reduction of parasites. This UV aids in water clarity too, and helps to control free-floating algae, without affecting beneficial bacterial colonies in your filter media and substrate.

The Wavereef Dropin UV can be easily installed into the sump, with optional moulded hose barbed fittings for easy installation with 1/2", 3/4" or 1" flexible hose and can be trimmed to fit for maximum flow capacity. This UV can be plumbed using standard PVC fittings and improves redox balance in the aquarium or pond as well as aiding in the control of parasites by reducing numbers and improving the immune function of aquatic life.
