Overview:
The White Eye Moray Eel is a striking marine eel known for its elongated dark body contrasted by distinctive white eyes, giving it a unique and dramatic appearance. Its slender form allows it to navigate tight crevices, making it an intriguing addition to large reef or species-specific aquariums.

Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, commonly inhabiting coral reefs and rocky outcrops across East Africa, Indonesia, and northern Australia.

Feeding:
Carnivorous – feeds on small fish, crustaceans, and other meaty marine foods. In captivity, provide shrimp, squid, clams, and frozen marine preparations to meet dietary needs.

Tank Mates:
Suitable for larger, non-aggressive species. Avoid keeping with small fish or invertebrates, as they may be viewed as prey. Best kept in species-specific tanks or carefully selected community setups.

Aggression:
Semi-aggressive/predatory – generally peaceful with larger tank mates but predatory toward small animals.

Experience Level:
Advanced – requires a well-established aquarium with secure rockwork and hiding spots to mimic natural reef crevices.

• Salinity: 1.020–1.025

• Minimum Tank Size: 125+ gallons
