The API 5 in 1 Aquarium Test Strip is a quick and easy way to test the water in your aquarium for five different parameters:

• pH levels
• Nitrate
• Nitrite
• KH (Carbonate Hardness)
• GH (General Hardness)

To test your water, simply dip a strip into your aquarium, swirl it several times, and then remove it horizontally with the testing pads face up - do not shake off excess water. Then, compare your strip to the colour chart provided. GH, KH and pH values can be read straight away; for Nitrite and Nitrate values wait at least 30 seconds.
