What is the Swell Canary Blenny?

The Canary Blenny is a beautiful fish that will look gorgeous in your reef aquarium as they are a peaceful species and will not harm any species of coral or invertebrates. They require plenty of space to allow them to swim and will need lots of live rocks to allow them to hide and hunt but they are easily startled and can jump so you need to have a tightly fitted lid so they can not escape. Their diet consists mainly of plankton but should be supplemented with live and frozen fish food as well as herbivorous food such as spirulina and frozen herbivore food. There is a chance they could become territorial when housed with members of the same or similar species so it is best to keep them as the only blenny in the aquarium. They are also considered venomous so caution should be taken around children and when putting your hand in the aquarium

How are these fish delivered to you?

The delivery time for your fish will be two working days if ordered before 2pm Monday - Thursday, and if you ordered after 2pm on a Thursday until Sunday then they should arrive with you by Tuesday. They will arrive in a polystyrene box and be bagged with oxygen which will allow them to stay packaged for up to 48 hours, if they are ordered during winter they will also come with heat pads for warmth. There is a one off £30 delivery charge regardless of how many fish you buy per order.
