What’s included in the Ciano Water Clear & Protection + Conditioner maintenance pack?

The Ciano Water Clear & Protection Cartridge + Conditioner maintenance pack includes a water clarifying filter cartridge and a water dechlorinator/conditioner.

The Ciano Clear & Protection Cartridge is compatible with most Ciano filters and designed to remove microparticles from your water column.

The Ciano Water Conditioner, on the other hand, is designed to remove chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals found in tap water, making it suitable for your aquarium.

This maintenance pack comes in four sizes to suit different aquarists’ needs: small, medium, large, and extra large. Check the specifications below to find out which sizes are compatible with which Ciano filters.

How often should I use Ciano Clear & Protection Cartridges and Water Conditioner?

Ciano Clear & Protection Cartridges are long-lasting, though for the best results it’s recommended that you replace them every 30 days. To use them, simply add them to your filter and watch as microparticles are removed from your water column.

Ciano Water Conditioner should be used whenever you add tap water to your aquarium, whether that be during the initial set-up phase or a regular water change. To dose, simply add 10ml for every 40L of water in your aquarium.
