What else do I need to buy alongside the Dennerle Nano Tank Plant Pro?

The Dennerle Nano Tank Plant Pro comes with everything you’ll need to get a planted aquarium up and running, though if you want to keep tropical fish and freshwater shrimp alongside your aquatic plants then you’ll need to get yourself a heater. We recommend a 50W heater for an aquarium of this size.

To make your underwater world look as natural as possible, you’ll also want to purchase some quality substrate, some hardscape – wood and/or rocks – and, of course, some live aquatic plants. This décor will give your aquarium a natural look and give your aquarium’s inhabitants somewhere to hide.
