Origin

Native to the Indo-Pacific region, Monetaria annulus inhabits shallow coral reefs and rocky substrates where it grazes on algae and biofilm.

Feeding

Primarily herbivorous, feeding on algae, biofilm, and detritus. In tanks with low natural algae, supplement with dried seaweed or algae wafers.

Tank Mates

Reef-safe and peaceful. Compatible with corals, fish, and other invertebrates. Avoid predatory species like puffers, triggers, or large Wrasses that may attack the snail.

Aggression

Peaceful. Does not harm corals or other tank inhabitants.
