The Orange Nose Butterfly Fish is a striking marine species, featuring a pale body with bold black bands and a vivid orange snout. Its elegant swimming and bright coloration make it a visually captivating addition to reef and community aquariums.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and northern Australia.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on a diet of frozen or live mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine flakes or pellets, with occasional algae grazing.
Tank Mates:
Best suited for peaceful reef and community tanks, avoiding aggressive or nippy species that may stress this fish.
Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though may defend small territories if space is limited.
