What is the Swell Pink Scooter Dragonet?

The Pink Scooter Dragonet is a beautiful and docile fish that will make a perfect addition to your reef aquarium. They have been known to be hard to keep due to them needing an already established tank of around one year old and because they are notoriously difficult to feed. You need to make sure that they have a deep sand bed and plenty of live rock to increase the chance of them eating and thriving and you must make sure that you provide enough live foods such as brine and mysis shrimp for them to eat. They are a slow moving species and should not be made to compete for food and so if they are not eating then we recommend placing their food close to them with a pipette. You can have more than one of this species in your aquarium but you must make sure that there is only one male per three females as the males will end up having a dominance battle. As long as your aquarium can meet the conditions, this gorgeous pink and white fish will make a fantastic addition to your tank while adding a touch of character.
