Widely distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific, from the Red Sea to the central Pacific Ocean.
Feeding:
Carnivorous – feeds on meaty marine foods such as shrimp, squid, fish, and other protein-rich offerings. Should be offered a varied diet of fresh or frozen seafood.
Tank Mates:
Best kept with large, robust tank mates such as triggerfish, large Wrasses, and other groupers. Not suitable with small fish or invertebrates, as they will be eaten.

Experience Level:
Advanced aquarists – requires a large system, excellent filtration, and careful selection of tank mates.
