What is Vetark Lice-Solve?

This is a treatment for fish suffering from lice, such as Argulus spp. and Ergasilus spp. This can be used by bathing or immersing them in the water, or as a whole treatment if required. Safe for use with biological media and any plant life, this treatment combats a host of copepods to keep your aquatic life healthy.

Available in 10g or 100g treatments, this concentrated powder is easy to mix and use, and is best used in two doses around 3 weeks apart to ensure any newly hatched eggs are also treated.

How do I use Vetark Lice-Solve?

This should be mixed out of the pond, using existing pond water in a bucket first. A dose rate of 10g per 2,500l is required, mixing into the bucket of 10l of pond water and stiring before pouring back into the pond. It is best to get more pond water and rinse out the bucket again to be sure you have all the treatment.

Often a second treatment will be required around 3 weeks later to ensure any eggs that may have hatched are also treated.

Alternatively, you can separate specific fish and use as an immersion treatment in a separate tank, treating for 24 hours.
