What are API Root Tabs?

API Root Tabs are plant fertilising tablets packed with iron, potassium, and carbon – minerals that promote lush and vibrant growth. They’re incredibly easy to dose, simply push them into your substrate and watch as your plants flourish.

Without proper fertilisation, aquatic plants gradually turn yellow, drop their leaves, and die. API Root Tabs stop that from happening, supplying key nutrients to help new aquatic plants grow and keep established plants flourishing.

Iron, potassium, and carbon are consumed over time in your aquarium, and must be replenished if plants are to thrive. API Root Tabs are safe to use with freshwater fish and should be used in conjunction with liquid fertilisers for optimal plant growth.

How do I use API Root Tabs?

To get the most out of your API Root Tabs, add one tablet per 30 square inches of gravel by pushing them midway into your substrate. A standard-sized aquarium (~38L) requires roughly six tables. Add new tablets monthly to optimise plant growth.
