What is Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt?

Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt is a marine aquarium salt that allows you to receive the benefits of both natural sea salt flakes from the North Atlantic Ocean and chemically pure laboratory-made salt for a more natural and probiotic-enriched reef salt.

This blend of probiotic bacteria reduces nitrate and phosphate levels and increases colour intensity and growth. Includes micro and macro trace elements that are enriched with high quality amino acids and vitamins that aid in immunity and natural metabolic functions. Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt replicates almost identical conditions to natural seawater, but has the added benefit of probiotics that help to maintain microbiological balance and lowers nitrate and phosphate levels naturally.

How do I dose Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt?

It is recommended to dissolve Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt in RODI water at a temperature between 24-25°C at a salinity of 33ppt. Use 390g of salt per 10 litres of RODI water and mix for 15 minutes. As soon as the salt is dissolved, it is suitable for immediate use.

The dissolved salt should be used within 3 days, and as evaporation changes the parameters of the water, keep any prepared saltwater sealed in a container, and check salinity before use if left for a few days. Store salt in a dry and humidity free place.
