Aquaforest Reef Bio S us a specialised formula created for the quick and effective elimination of ammonia and nitrogen compounds from the aquarium. Bio S contains specially selected bacterial strains that create a perfect environment for replication of Nitrospirae and Nitrobacteraceae bacteria which are responsible for the nitrogen cycle.

How do I accelerate the nitrification process?

In the nitrification process, bacteria removes compounds such as ammonia and nitrite from your water. Aquaforest Reef Bio S is recommended especially in the first days after setting up a new aquarium to both start and accelerate the nitrification process. This formula is also perfect for settling filtration media into newly established aquariums. In mature aquariums, it accelerates the decomposition of food residues as well as other organic compounds and sediments. It improves the clarity of water and promotes cleaning of the substrate. Aquaforest Reef Bio S can also be used in tanks with probiotic bacteria based filtration systems.

Dosage:1 drop per 100L of water every day for the first 2 weeks. In functioning aquariums, Aquaforest Reef Bio S should be used after water changes.
