How do I use Cinnamon Bark Tubes in an aquarium?

Prior to placing Cinnamon Bark Tubes in your aquarium, it’s a good idea to boil them in fresh water. This will remove any lingering bacteria and waterlog them, increasing the chances that they’ll sink when you finally add them to your aquarium.

After boiling your Cinnamon Bark Tubes, strain them and then add them to your aquarium. If pre-boiled, or left for a day or two, the Cinnamon Bark Tubes will sink and start to release humins and tanning agents.

As natural products, Cinnamon Bark Tubes won’t last forever and after two to three weeks they will start to break down and lose their effectiveness. It’s recommended that you replace your Cinnamon Bark Tubes once they start to break down. This pack contains approximately 6 tubes.
