Description:

Haplochromis Pundamilia Crimson Tide is a visually striking African cichlid known for its intense red hues and dynamic personality. Originating from Lake Victoria, this species brings drama and beauty to any cichlid setup. Males boast a crimson flush across their body, especially when in breeding condition.

Tank Setup & Compatibility:

A spacious 66-gallon tank or larger is recommended with ample rockwork and hiding spaces. This fish thrives best in a species-only tank due to its aggressive nature. It can be housed with similarly sized and tempered Haplochromis species in larger aquariums.

Feeding:

Haplochromis Pundamilia Crimson Tide is easy to feed and will accept most high-quality prepared foods. A varied diet of dry pellets, frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms, and occasional live foods will help maintain peak coloration and health.
