What is Dennerle Carbo Care Pro

Dennerle Carbo Care Pro is a carbon-based, liquid plant fertiliser that serves as a fantastic, inexpensive alternative to elaborate CO2 fertiliser systems. It’s a stronger version of Dennerle’s Carbo Care Bio and is intended for use on heavily planted aquariums with lots of CO2-demanding aquatic plants.

As a liquid fertiliser that can be dosed directly to your aquarium, the effects of Carbo Care Pro are immediate. In home aquariums, carbon is typically in short supply and needs to be supplemented for your plants to grow. Carbo Care Pro provides a source of readily available carbon that all aquatic plants can make us of, not just the CO2-demanding ones.

How do I use Dennerle Carbo Care Pro?

Dennerle Carbo Care Pro is incredibly quick and easy to use, simply dose 2-4ml per 100L of aquarium water daily. Its effects are immediate and within days you should see new shoot tips on your established plants, as well as young, green leaves.

Dennerle Carbo Care Pro is harmless to all aquatic life when properly dosed. It’s worth noting, though, that it does contain Glutaraldehyde, a substance that, if overdosed, can be toxic. A safety buffer has been built into the dosage for this reason, so that even an accidental double dosage won’t negatively affect your aquarium’s inhabitants.
