What is the Dyofix SGP Shadow?

The Dyofix SGP Shadow is an algae treatment for your pond that will remove the algaes food source by blocking the UV light. They are harmless to your other plants and animals as they do not contain any herbicides or pesticides. Unlike the similar product the Dyofix SGP Blue, the Dyofix SGP Shadow does not have a tint of blue and instead reflects all of the primary colours which means that it will look naked to the human eye. This allows you to have the natural colours and beauty of your pond

Why is algae bad for your pond?

Algae blooms can occur in your pond where there is an abundance of resources available, which means that the algae will reproduce very quickly which will consume a large amount of these resources which could lead to the death of your other plants as well as your fish.

Preventing algae manually can be very hard as you have to use lots of different types of chemicals, algaecides, herbicides etc, and if these are not used precisely or used by a professional then it can cause imbalances in the natural nutrients of you pond and this can cause many problems with your fish and plants.

Dosage

• SGP Shadow 15: 1ml required per 50 litres of water
• SGP Shadow 50: 1ml required per 150 litres of water

Fill a watering can half way and add the amount required for your pond. Stir the contents and when mixed make sure to apply to every part of the pond evenly

To maintain the levels of Dyofix in your pond make sure to add around 10% of the original dose monthly
