The Eheim EHFI FIX, is a specially structured course filter medium for trapping solid dirt particles.
EHFIFIX is used as effective mechanical filtration at the water inflow of the filter as second layer (e.g. after EHFIMECH). For best results another layer of biological media should placed over the top.
It is also ideal for use in overflow chambers. The material can be washed out under cold water and can be used several times.
Suitable for marine and fresh water aquariums.
For models 2211, 2213, 2215/22176, 2222, 2224, 2226, 2228 a special pad is recommended.
