The Haplochromis Fenestratus is a stunning and dynamic cichlid from Lake Malawi, known for its dazzling colouration and strong personality. It features a sleek, torpedo-shaped body with intricate spotting and vivid tones that can shift depending on mood and breeding status.

Tank Setup & Compatibility:

Best kept in a large tank of 66 gallons or more with plenty of rocks and hiding spots. This species thrives in a well-structured aquascape and can coexist with other robust Haplochromis in a carefully managed environment. Due to their aggressive temperament, tankmates must be chosen wisely.

Feeding:

Feeding the Haplochromis Fenestratus is straightforward. They readily accept a mix of high-quality dry, frozen, and live foods. A varied diet will bring out their most vibrant colours and support long-term health.
