Description:

The Blue Kipili Frontosa is a stunning geographical variant of Cyphotilapia frontosa originating from the Kipili region of Lake Tanganyika. It is known for its deep blue hues and bold black vertical banding, which make it a striking centerpiece fish in any large African cichlid aquarium.

These fish are deep-water dwellers in their natural habitat and prefer subdued lighting with ample rock formations and hiding spaces. They are generally peaceful for a cichlid species but can display territorial behavior, particularly among males.

Diet:

Frontosa are omnivores and do well on high-quality flake or pellet foods. Supplement their diet with frozen or freeze-dried treats like krill or plankton. Feed in moderation to prevent bloating and maintain optimal health and colour.
