Description:

The Blue Zaire Moba Frontosa is one of the most sought-after geographical variants of Cyphotilapia frontosa, known for its deep electric blue colouration and majestic appearance. Native to the Zaire (Congo) region of Lake Tanganyika, this variety is prized by collectors for its rarity and striking beauty.

These fish are deep-water dwellers, requiring large tanks with plenty of hiding spaces, subdued lighting, and a sandy or fine substrate. They are best kept in species-only setups or with other large, peaceful African cichlids. Males can become territorial, especially during breeding.

Diet:

Frontosa are omnivores and thrive on a diet of high-quality flake or pellet foods. They also enjoy frozen or freeze-dried treats such as krill or plankton. Feed a varied diet in moderation to enhance their colours and maintain health.
