Description:

Neon Blue Usisya Peacock Cichlid is a dazzling Peacock Cichlid variety known for its intense electric blue hues. Native to Lake Malawi, this fish combines stunning looks with dynamic behaviour, making it a sought-after choice for aquarists wanting a bold centrepiece species.

Like other Aulonocara, the Neon Blue variant has a streamlined, bullet-like body and thrives in a tank of at least 300 litres with plenty of rocks and hiding spots. While generally tolerant of other Aulonocara and compatible species like Yellow Labs, they can display aggression towards smaller or similarly shaped tank mates, particularly in smaller aquariums.

Feeding:

This species is not picky when it comes to food. A varied diet of high-quality dry pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live offerings will help maintain its vivid colouration and robust health. Variety is key to supporting immune health and enhancing their natural shine.
