What are Neptunian Anti Skip Nets?

Neptunian Anti Skip Nets are a lightweight jump guard designed to fit on Neptunian Cube aquariums. These nets are lightweight and sleek and have a low impact on the visuals of your aquarium. The Neptunian Anti Skip Nets have been designed not only to maintain the aesthetics of your aquarium, but also to maintain a high light penetration to keep your aquarium well-lit, which is an essential if you keep corals.

Each skip net kit includes inner and outer corners, an aluminium alloy frame, rubber strap and nylon fishnet that is larger than the display tank dimensions. It is recommended to use gloves when assembling, and to cut the net with a wallpaper knife or scissors. It is not recommended to cut the net after installation.

Why should I use a jump guard?

Some fish have a tendency to jump from the water, more commonly when they are frightened or chased by other fish. Unfortunately, the survival rate for these fish is significantly lowered in an open-top aquarium, which can make maintaining a community tank a challenge. Open top aquariums have a unique visual, allowing for more viewing space and a sleek design, so with the use of jump guards, you can keep fish safely in a beautiful open-top tank without worrying about having to find them dead outside the tank, or sacrificing marine lighting to add a lid.
