Haplochromis Obliquidens is a stunning African cichlid native to Lake Victoria. This species features a sleek, bullet-shaped body typical of the Cichlidae family, with vibrant colour variants that add life and excitement to any aquarium. Its active behavior includes both territorial guarding and exploring the aquarium perimeter, making it a dynamic centerpiece fish.

Tank Setup & Compatibility:

Requires a spacious aquarium of 66 gallons or more with plenty of rockwork for territory and hiding. Best kept with other Haplochromis species due to its aggressive nature. Smaller fish should be avoided to prevent aggression issues.

Feeding:

This unfussy eater readily accepts high-quality dry, frozen, and live foods. Providing a varied diet will ensure optimal health and vibrant coloration for your Haplochromis Obliquidens.
