How do I use this Trace Elements Barium 150ml?

It's important to first check your reef tank's barium levels prior to any dosing. This is best done with a professional ICP test. These tests will not only tell you whether your barium levels need adjusting, but your levels of other trace elements too.

To dose, add 1ml of barium per 100L of saltwater. This will increase barium levels by 1 µg/l. Its widely accepted that 10 µg/l is an optimum concentration level for a reef tank. Avoid dosing all at once as high doses of barium can be toxic for marine animals.
