Swell Duckweed Treatment is a natural solution that combats a wide variety of duckweed species through the roots and leaves, protecting your pond from unsightly coverings. Safe for pond fish, pets and wildlife, this duckweed control treatment comes in a 1-litre bottle and treats up to 22,500 litres of pond water.

How does this duckweed treatment work?

Duckweed is an all too familiar problem for pond owners. Plants, fish and other pond life suffer due to the presence of this floating plant, which eats up nutrients, light and oxygen from the water. Using a special bacterial culture, Swell Duckweed Treatment binds key nutrients to delay the growth of the most common varieties, such as Lemna minor. The treatment attacks duckweed at the root and ensures that it doesn’t return once it has been removed.

Directions for use:

Swell Duckweed Treatment will treat 22,500 litres (4950 gallons) at a dose rate of 10 ml per 225 litres (50 gallons) and can also be sprayed over floating duckweed. Simply shake the bottle and remove the safety cap, squeeze it to fill measure and pour it into your pond. Repeat after one week if necessary. Do not spray onto pond plants.
