With a quartz content in excess of 97%, our Natural Silver Sand is widely recognised for its application within the potable water supply industry. This together with smooth rounded particle shape and inert nature in water makes the sand an ideal product for Marine aquariums, Tropical and Coldwater setups alike. The close grading of our Natural Silver Sand ensures uniform look and is particularly effective for establishing plants, when used in a planted aquarium.

The grading and shape of our Natural Silver Sand ensures that there are no harsh "gritty bits" making the sand kind to all catfish and bottom dwelling life.
