How do I care for Swell UK Juncus effusus?

The Swell UK Juncus effusus plant is very erect with dark green stems and brown seed heads. Clumps will spread by creeping rhizomes. It can self-seed, used to be made into mats and was probably the rush strewn over the floor in many of Shakespeare's plays. Trim in early spring to encourage new growth. Keep in full sun or partial shade.
