What is Fauna Marin Power Phos?

Fauna Marin Power Phos is a wet granulated ferric hydroxide absorber which safely removes silicates and phosphates from the aquarium. The pollutants are bound to the surface of Power Phos and will not be released again. Fauna Marin Power Phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your tank. Unwanted Algae growth will be stopped and corals will show their natural colours.

How do I dose Fauna Marin Power Phos?

Fauna Marin Power Phos is easy to dose. It is recommended to start with 100ml per 300L of water, increasing to 150ml per 300L of water after 5 days. It is advised to use a fluidised bed reactor or use Power Phos between two layers of filter wool.

When phosphate concentrations start to increase again, replace with fresh Power Phos.
