The Fluval FX4/FX5/FX6 Bio Foam is designed to suit the FX4, FX5 and FX6 High Performance Canister Filter.

The unique surface of the Bio Foam is ideal to promote the growth of bacterial colonies that will provide biological filtration and consume nitrites and other unwelcome by-products. They also offer mechanical filtration as the surface catches and retains grit, dirt and debris, removing it from the water.

The Bio Foam is designed to fit perfectly, to avoid any water bypass, which means you can be confident that your aquarium is as clean and clear as possible.

This media is ideal to use as a second stage filter material as it will catch smaller particles that may have escaped the first contact in the filter.
