What is the Hobby Floating Breeder Net?
The Hobby Floating Breeder Net, also known as the Nido 3.1, is a mesh spawning container designed to separate viviparous fish (fish that give birth to live young) and raise fry. Thanks to its fine mesh construction, fresh, clean water can constantly pass through the net, keeping your expecting mothers happy and healthy.
The Hobby Floating Breeder Net attaches to the side of your aquarium using suction cups. It comes with a removable central partition, as well as a false bottom that separates fry from their parents after birth. This spawning container can also be used to temporarily separate sick or aggressive fish from others in your aquarium.
How do I use the Hobby Floating Breeder Net?
The Hobby Floating Breeder Box is incredibly easy to use. Simply assemble it according to the supplied instructions and then place it inside your aquarium, using the suction cups to attach it to a glass surface. Once installed, fish can be placed inside and, if necessary, the central partition can be adjusted.
The Hobby Floating Breeder Net is 16 x 16 x 14cm and provides roughly three-and-a-half litres of space. It’s intended for use inside your aquarium, it cannot be used externally.
