Description
The Red Ricefish is a beautifully colored, hardy, and peaceful nano fish perfect for community tanks and nano aquascapes. Originally derived from the *Oryzias* genus, these fish are known for their striking reddish-orange bodies and ease of care.
Red Ricefish are schooling fish and thrive in groups of 6 or more. Their small size and calm nature make them an ideal choice for planted aquariums, where they add vibrant motion and color near the surface and midwater zones.
These fish are highly adaptable and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions, including slightly cooler temperatures, which makes them suitable for both heated and unheated tanks in moderate climates.
A well-balanced omnivorous diet including quality flakes, micro-pellets, and live or frozen foods such as daphnia and baby brine shrimp helps enhance their color and vitality.
The Red Ricefish is an excellent choice for beginners and advanced aquarists alike, offering beauty, peaceful behavior, and simple care requirements in a small package.
