The Red Sea REEFER Peninsula S-950 G3+ with Black Cabinet is a reef-ready aquarium system from Red Sea's REEFER G3+ range, a Peninsula S model, a room-divider layout that lets you view your corals from two long sides, built on an aluminium superstructure. It combines a 947 L total system volume, made up of a 757 L display tank and a 189.6 L in-cabinet sump, with a black cabinet, so you can choose your own lighting, circulation and filtration equipment.

Red Sea builds the REEFER Peninsula S-950 G3+ with ultra-clear glass that is eurobraced and bonded with euro-silicone. The redesigned flow system offers up to 50% more water circulation, and the enlarged rectangular downflow inlet reduces turbulence and noise. The central overflow box has a removable surface skimmer. The cabinet has an aluminium superstructure with a replaceable exterior and hidden adjustable feet. A slide-out control panel keeps controllers and other equipment tidy.

What do I need to add to the Red Sea REEFER Peninsula S-950 G3+?

The system does not include lighting, water circulation (wave pumps), a main return pump, a protein skimmer or ReefMat. Red Sea recommends a ReefRun G2 12000 return pump for this size, which is not included. ReefControl Pro supports up to 7 ReefSense probes or sensors and two 12V DC devices.

This model uses Red Sea's split-sump design: the main sump is refugium-ready with an adjustable-height skimmer chamber, and an extension sump can act as a frag tank, a larger refugium or extra filtration, or be disconnected for use as an RO reservoir.
