What are Bubble Magus Hang-On Protein Skimmers?

Bubble Magus Hang-On Protein Skimmers are a range of compact protein skimmers made by industry experts Bubble Magus. They’ve been specially designed for use on aquariums without sumps and come with a sturdy mounting bracket that allows them to hang on the outside of your aquarium (or inside in the case of the QQ2).

These protein skimmers are all-in-one units, with a powerful, built-in skimmer pump attached to a bubble diffuser box. This makes them incredibly quick and easy to install, simply hang them on the outside of your aquarium (or inside in the case of the QQ2) and watch as they get to work.

Yes, the Bubble Magus Hang-On Protein Skimmer comes in three different sizes: the QQ1, the QQ2, and the QQ3. The QQ1 and QQ3 mount externally and are capable of skimming water in aquariums up to 100L and 300L respectively. The QQ2, on the other hand, mounts internally and is also capable of skimming water in aquariums up to 100L. They each come with a suitably sized Rock SP pump.
