Bug Bites provides targeted nutrition to your fish, through a sustainable source of Black Soldier Fly Larvae, which is bred on human-grade fruits and vegetables to promote "super food" benefits. The Bug Bites food has excellent amino acid profiles, and is high in natural protein whilst still being low in carbohydrates, so the fish don't fill up unnecessarily. It is designed to be easily digestible and appealing to fish.

Fluval Bug Bites is more than just Black Soldier Fly Larvae though, but also includes other high protein sources such as whole Salmon, providing a rich amount of Omega 3 and 6, to help improve skin, scales, fins and also colours. There is also other essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids to sustain fish health, whilst avoiding any artificial colour or preservatives.

Fluval are proud that Bug Bites is produced in a completely sustainable way, using unconsumed fruits and vegetables, that would otherwise be discarded, to provide nutrition for the Black Soldier Fly. The larvae is dried, and mixed with high quality salmon, amino acids and minerals to complete this nutritional daily diet. Also included are peas, a great natural source of carbohydrates whilst also adding fibre and protein. There is also wheat for natural fibre, and comes in a better form of nutrition than wheat flour or wheat gluten.

Bug Bites Bottom Feeder is a great Pleco Formula, and can be used to feed any type of bottom feeding fish; carnivorous, omnivorous and herbivores. This incorporates an ideal mix of animal proteins and vegetables for plecs, including fish like ancistrus. There is a high fibre content, which benefits all bottom dwelling fish, to help to avoid bloating, and replicates the natural consumption of wood in their normal diet. The smaller 45g tub contains granules for small - medium fish, whilst the 130g tub has sticks for medium to large plecos.
