The Katachi Haku aquarium is one of a kind due to the equipment included. The lighting system is unique as through the touch of a button, you can switch between white light ideal for plant growth, to any colour you desire. This can easily be lifted off when it is time to add food for your freshwater aquatic inhabitants.

The integrated filter is powered by an air pump, making this easy to maintain and clean as there are no mechanical parts inside the tank such as an impeller. Simply remove the filter from the tank, rinse the sponges in tank water and reinstall. Due to its innovative design, this high-quality filter both mechanically and biologically filters the water, while providing aeration in the form of a stream of bubbles.

The black lid slots on the top of the tank, with all cables running out of the back through integrated holes. This results in less evaporation, so your tank needs to be topped up less regularly. When it comes to cleaning, simply lift the lid off the tank for full access and place it back on when finished.

What else do I need to purchase?

As all the filtration and lighting to get you started are included, you will only need to add a few extra products. If you want to keep tropical fish, you will need to buy a heater to create the ideal conditions, we would recommend you choose a 25W for this tank.

We would also recommend stocking up on substrate, decor and live or artificial plants to create a tank that you find aesthetically pleasing, as well as one which will stimulate your fish and make them feel at home. A tap water conditioner is also required to help make this a safe environment for aquatic life to enter.
